Due to variations in ingredients and measurements, values are approximations and cannot be verified or guaranteed. As nutrient calculations are estimated, our numbers are rounded according to our software program and the regulations by Health Canada.
We do our best to achieve the best accuracy possible, however, the actual nutritional content of recipes may vary depending on several factors including, but not limited to: ingredient brand, accuracy of measurements, physical changes during the cooking process, nutrient losses or gains during cooking, and serving sizes.
Nutrition data is collected and calculated by a registered dietitian. Nutritional values primarily come from the software we use to provide nutrition fact analysis, Nutribase, or from food manufacturers. This nutrition data is used along with the professional judgement of the person performing the calculation. Although the information has been calculated by a registered dietitian, this information is not a substitute for medical advice, personal health evaluation, or professional recommendation. It should not be used in the treatment of medical conditions. This data should be interpreted and used at your own risk. Cancellation for food safety training
If notice is received at least five (5) business days in advance of the scheduled service, no penalties or fees will be applied.
Failure to provide notice at least 5 business days in advance obligates the customer to make payment in full for the scheduled service.
Subject to availability, the customer has the option to reschedule the service within one (1) month of the scheduled appointment and receive credit, minus a rebooking fee, for the amount paid.
For notice given between 1 and 5 business days prior to the scheduled date, a twenty five (25) percent rebooking fee applies.
For notice given less than 1 business day (24 hours) prior to the scheduled date, a fifty (50) percent rebooking fee applies.
Recipe for Health reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the date and time of a class at any time, including replacing personnel who may be scheduled to deliver the training. In the event of a cancellation, a full refund will be issued. Recipe for Health shall not be responsible for any loss incurred by the customer as a result of a cancellation or reschedule.
